The role you’ll contribute:

The Strategic Clinical Reporting Specialist applies their background and experience in delivering clinical care and knowledge of the electronic medical record to support the development and maintenance of quality and safety reporting products. This position will be responsible for serving as a key resource to AdventHealth facilities in achieving strategic quality and safety goals. The Strategic Clinical Reporting Specialist serves as an expert utilizing current software products for report development, troubleshooting, education, and product updates. The position is responsible for facilitating clinical end user support for AdventHealth Clinical Quality & Safety. This includes actively collaborating with individuals across all corporate functions, including AdventHealth IT, to ensure successful coordination of the strategic quality and safety initiatives prioritized by AdventHealth Clinical.

· Serve as a clinical information specialist for Microsoft products, specifically Power Business Intelligence and Power Automate.

· Provide Epic System expertise and serve as a subject matter expert for clinical reporting modules.

· Employ quality measurement tools to enable strategic insights and spur transformative and exceptional clinical outcomes.

· Utilize clinical expertise to create, build, test/troubleshoot and modify/maintain reports with clinical content.

· Analyze quality and safety outcomes, recognize performance gaps in meeting standards of care, and identify areas of opportunity for improvement.

· Champion report requests and modifications from AdventHealth Clinical and Market quality and safety teams.

· Collaborate with AdventHealth IT and AdventHealth Clinical Analytics to monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of data used for clinical reporting and quality initiatives.

· Utilize a wholistic, comprehensive, and team-based approach with existing electronic health record and analytic tools to preserve efficient, accurate extraction of health care quality data.

· Facilitate and maintain ongoing user support calls with AdventHealth facilities.

· Maintain understanding of data warehouse content and learn to use/implement new database tools as they become available.

· Onboard and support facilities new to AdventHealth with clinical quality and safety reporting and transitioning other related clinical reporting needs.

· Responsible for exceptional customer service by promoting an image of a professional high-quality organization through expertise and responsiveness.

· Perform other duties as needed to support the ongoing operations of AdventHealth Clinical.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics or Management, or related health field(s).

· 2 or more years of clinical experience.

· 2 or more years of current experience in a related healthcare, quality, safety, or analytic position.

· Current State of Florida licensure as applicable.

Preferred qualifications:

· Experience with reporting to CMS or other regulatory agency.

· Experience with Premier-Quality Advisor and other Premier work products. Ability to perform data mining of clinical database information to include, but not limited to, the enterprise data warehouse (EDW).

· Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and query tools.

· Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or other data analytics/clinical informatics certification as appropriate.
