TI Group Automotive Systems Program Manager (Job Code: 1026) in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of program launches and engineering changes through the corporate Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) process and Customer Change Management/Specific Requirements; lead meetings, internally and externally, with suppliers and customer personnel to manage, communicate, and resolve program issues and status; oversee the development and maintenance of the corporate AQP documentation according to quality procedures; direct the AQP Team to a successful launch from inception to end of production, as well as ensure proper application of the corporate 5 Milestone AQP procedures; chair regular AQP meetings, setting up and maintaining launch related SharePoint sites; create internal and external timelines, compile and reporting lessons learned, and maintain and distribute meeting minutes and open issues lists; oversee customer launch and ensure related deliverables are met on time and in accordance with customer specific requirements and launch timing; manage customer relationships and any launch or change related negotiations; serve as the primary launch and engineering change contact, compiling the necessary inputs from the other team members, and negotiate with the customer as necessary; responsible for proactive management of the customer relationship and consistent dialogue with various customer representatives; direct the AQP Team, including coaching, mentoring, training, and holding various team members accountable for deliverables and commitments; utilize quality assurance, risk management, program management, project management, change management, budget coordination, and AQP to perform duties; responsible for being an active leader on the Customer Business Team, proactively holding meetings, using formal and informal communications in order to coordinate corporate designs, supplier quotes, customer change notices, customer quotes, CMPs, and tool notes; oversee the provision of support to new business quoting activity and the accomplishment of overall business team goals; oversee coordination of cross-functional communication and lead the team in reaching consensus on open issues, challenges, and contingencies; understand the roles and relationships between various internal functions and manage these interactions, ensuring timely output of deliverables required for launch and change management; and accountable for the fiscal management of launch and engineering change financials, including the compilation and approval of capital expenditures, budgeting and management of tooling and capital expenditures, and the maintenance and enhancement of program financials.

 

Location: Auburn Hills, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

 

Salary: $100,610 per year;

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

 

Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as an AQP Engineer, as an Industrial Engineer, as a Launch Manager, or in a related occupation;

 

Will accept three (3) years in the position above, as an AQP Engineer, as an Industrial Engineer, as a Launch Manager, or in a related occupation in lieu of the primary education and experience requirements;
