RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility involves profitably developing our existing business through both volume gains and attracting new business.
Develop strategic plans designed to accomplish the financial objectives of the division.
Work with Business Managers to develop a cohesive, effective, and highly motivated sales force to achieve Acosta targets.
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Clients to achieve their targets.
Responsible for effectively communicating to retail community.
Expense management.
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree and at least 10 years in sales or marketing positions of successively increased responsibility.
Proven track record in a management level sales capacity with a food broker or major national packaged goods company.
Prior experience must demonstrate proven sales skills along with the ability to successfully manage others.
Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
Solid understanding of the fundamental principles of financial management and possess the ability to effectively monitor and control expenses.
Effectively communicate the company’s operating philosophy, goals, and objectives to all employees.
Effective public speaker and be able to make persuasive presentations to principals and customers
Willing to travel.
