SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTOR DIVISION: Early Childhood Development PURPOSE: Provides instruction and guidance to pre-school children in the Head Start classroom supporting other comprehensive services and preparing them for entrance into the school age programming. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood Education, OR a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education. Experience: Preferred one (1) year classroom experience with pre-school children. Knowledge of social service agencies in Fayette County desirable. OR Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, child development or a related field with equivalent course work. Experience: Preferred two (2) years of classroom experience with pre-school children. Knowledge of social service agencies in Fayette County desirable.
