The Senior Manager, Adjudication Infrastructure will lead a deeply-skilled organization within Technology Services that consists of several domains, delivering a program to keep ESC Adjudication systems secure, accurate, reliable and compliant. Reporting to the Director of Technology Services, this role will collaborate to set the strategic technology direction in support of the business objectives of the company, ensuring the infrastructure and processes required to effectively deliver critical business services are in place.

They demonstrate a high level of influence within their own organization, with their business partners, peer leaders and senior leaders.

Please note: This is a hybrid position and can be based out of our head office in Mississauga, Toronto or Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages a widely skilled team of Infrastructure professionals responsible for supporting and maintaining Adjudication Infrastructure.

• Works closely with leaders from Business and Software Engineering to ensure Adjudication infrastructure strategy is aligned with business priorities and future strategic direction.

• Works with senior team members to develop ideas and team strategies that have long-term, strategic impact, aligning with direction from the business. Responsible for initiating work and allocating resources necessary to implement strategy and achieve organizational goals.

• Identify opportunities to enhance or simplify the infrastructure. Create and articulate the case for change by developing opportunity canvasses, highlighting potential business and/or customer benefits.

• Maintain accurate budgets and forecasts for project labour, non-labour and operations within their scope of responsibility

• Ensure all technologies are maintained in a supportable state, identifying lifecycle opportunities and planning resource requirements for lifecycle/compliance projects.

• Champions adoption of DevOps and Agile Delivery methodologies adjusted for infrastructure service delivery for both project implementations and operational support teams

• Builds and maintains relationships with all levels of employees by creating an environment of safety and innovation within their organization and across peer groups

• On-call Escalation point for Incident Management Process, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

Qualifications:

• 10+ years technical experience in Infrastructure architecture, design, implementation and operations, including hybrid cloud-based systems in a diverse Enterprise environment

• 5 + years of management experience, which should include accountability for all aspects of leading an Enterprise organization. Experience with people processes, client/partner relationships, financial processes, work processes and delivery of work products is required.

• Bachelors' Degree with technical study or equivalent work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

• Open-Source operating system architecture experience/certification

• Ability to understand and direct strategy for a complex virtualized open-source and Oracle environment, including best practices and architecture.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

• French language written and oral communication would be considered a strong asset.

• Ability to empathize with internal and external customers to ensure a superior support experience.
