We are offering a unique opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Financial Services industry, located in Muskogee, OK. The role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The position will also require monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Comply with all relevant company policies and State and Federal lending regulations

• Perform data entry of loan application and documents

• Assist with the overall operations of the branch office, particularly in customer relations, accounts building, and compliance

• Develop and improve customer relations and provide exceptional service to all customers

• Utilize effective judgment for customer solicitations

• Utilize Microsoft and Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated experience in Billing Collection and Cash Collections

• Familiarity with both Commercial and Consumer Collections

• Understanding of Credit - Collections and Debt Collection processes

• Prior experience in Third Party Collections is advantageous

• Proficiency in Keyword Research, with a focus on collections and financial services

• Familiarity with the financial services industry, specifically in a collections role

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
