DATTCO has an opening for a Bus Cleaner at our New Britain, CT location. This is a third shift position from 9 PM to 5:30 AM, and includes weekends and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect and clean all luggage storage bays, overhead passenger storage areas, windows, and floors

• Empty trash receptacles and trash from interior of vehicle

• Brush and vacuum as needed

• Sanitize floors and fixtures

• Clean exterior of vehicle

• Fuels buses as needed

• Understand OSHA safety rules and promotes a safe work environment

• Ability to move and park different types of buses

Minimum Requirements:

• Stamina to work a physical job that requires hard and detailed work in a fast paced environment.

• Valid CT driver-s license

• 18+ years old

• Must be able to pass an in-yard driving test of all vehicles

• Must be able to maneuver large vehicles including double decker-s around facility

• Operate fuel pump

• ATTENTION: This is a safety sensitive position as determined by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and requires inclusion in a random drug testing pool which determines the usage of prohibited substances, including recreational marijuana.
