The Arc of Tri-Cities is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving persons with developmental disabilities. Is looking for fun, positive, uplifting people who would like to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Part Time Community Engagement Specialist,

Positions will provide direct client support in accordance with contractual and regulatory obligations. The position will include facilitating activities with clients, in groups or one on one in the community.

General Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with people with developmental
• Good verbal communication
• Must be able to organize activities and handle multi-tasks.
• Ability to interact with families and other
• Must have good problem-solving
• Must be positive and fun to work with
• Understanding of mentoring and teaching new skills to others
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Ability to provide a high standard of customer

• Ability to maintain safety.

   

Requirements.

• Ability to pass DSHS background check
• Driving Record must meet public transportation standards.
• 5 years driving
• Drive 10 passenger van and or Wheelchair accessible vehicle
• Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test and random drug testing.

• Must have High School Degree/GED

   

Special Skills

      Bi-Lingual is a plus but not required

*Salary Hourly       *$ 16.00 per hour

Hours - Part time -- Flexible Hours

Program Time Options- flexible schedule, days, nights, or weekends with your input.
