Please review the following job description:

This is an in-office position. The location is 1001 Semmes Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.

Ensure that all brokerage accounts are opened and maintained accurately, including the review and cataloging of any relevant documentation. Assist front office with inquiries and processing items related to account opening, maintenance, documents, back office systems, or general account questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Update client and account information within firm applications while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

  2. Ensure account documentation is received, reviewed for accuracy and completeness, cataloged on the account, and imaged in the firm's digital repository.

  3. Communicate directly with the front office by responding to emails and phone inquiries.

  4. Work relevant department reports within designated time frame.

  5. Support Asset Management Account (AMA) check writing and debit card products.

  6. Assist in ad hoc projects required to be completed by the department.

  7. Assist in gathering materials and documentation for both internal and external audits.

  8. Adhere to the regulators and guidelines established by Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.

  2. Provide high-quality client service.

  3. Ability to handle multiple assignments; work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

  4. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.

  5. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

  6. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. One year of brokerage industry experience
