Discover’s Internal Audit Department (IAD) is committed to providing insightful perspectives, leveraging specialized talent, and delivering a refreshing experience to all of our stakeholders. Lead dynamic projects in an effort to complete complex Business Technology audits to provide insights to business partners and identify information technology, information security, and data management risks and control gaps.

Focus Areas include:

• Cloud Services

• Cybersecurity

• Data Governance

• Continuous Development/Continuous Improvement

• Systems management/Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Leads client audits. Develops risk assessments align to standards. Completes and documents audit fieldwork and testing. Identifies potential findings for discussion with management. Discusses findings with clients and develops action plans. Completes review of audit work of assigned staff.

• Communicates statuses of audits and findings to clients. Partners with clients to develop solutions to identified findings. Interacts effectively with technology, operations, and financial auditors to ensure coverage of audit entity.

• Develops and educates team members. Defines expectations with audit staff.

• Advanced understanding of core Information Technology processes and systems (e.g., cloud technologies, operating systems, data management, networking, systems development lifecycle, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Analytics, or related field

• Relevant Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Cyber Security

• IT audit experience within an Accounting / Consulting firm, Financial Institution, or Regulatory Agency is preferred

• Certifications:

• Six Sigma, STEM, or Business, Risk, or Audit related certifications

• CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, AWS

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
