SGI Global is seeking a qualified Police Advisor to Government of Honduras (GOH) as part of the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI). The CARSI Initiative, one of the largest and most sophisticated multi-lateral security efforts in the world, provides funding for the USG to assist the governments of the CARSI countries with police professionalization, justice sector reform, counter narcotics efforts, border security management, crime and violence prevention, and anti-corruption efforts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, TCN or LN;

• MRPT certification or RSO Clearance for foreign nationals

• Bachelor's degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy or (10) years of related professional law enforcement experience

• FSI level 3/3 Spanish, FSI level 3/3 English

• Fifteen (15) years' experience with U.S. or other country law enforcement or military, which must include three (3) years working overseas in an Embassy environment, or three (3) years specialized experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs)

• Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
